Coastal Athletic began with a simple belief:
The best products don't just perform well. They create reasons for people to spend more time outside, move more often, and connect with the people around them.
That belief became the foundation of everything we're building.
Why we started
A product should be a beginning.
We spent years around consumer products and noticed something that never felt quite right. Most brands focus on the transaction. Once the product is sold, the relationship ends.
We wanted to build something different. A product should become the beginning of an experience — not the end of one.
That idea became Coastal Athletic.
Why pickleball?
A reason to show up.
Pickleball became our starting point because few activities make it easier to bring people together. It welcomes beginners. It encourages conversation. It creates opportunities to meet someone new.
Whether you're playing your first match or your hundredth, showing up is the hardest part. A paddle simply gives people a reason to do that.
Why coastal?
Where the idea came to life.
Coastal Athletic draws inspiration from South Florida's outdoor lifestyle. Not because the brand only belongs here — but because this is where the idea came to life.

Where we're going
Still at the beginning.

We're intentionally taking our time. The strongest communities aren't manufactured. They grow naturally.
